Møn wedges itself in between Zealand and Falster, and the island is especially known for Møns Klint, which is found on the island's east coast. Møns Klint is a 7 km. long ridge bordering the Baltic Sea, which at its highest point the Queen's Chair reaches 128 meters in the air. The cliff consists of chalk deposits that are over 75 million. years old, and which due to changes in the structure of the cliff are still affected by collapses. Møns Klint is visited every year by more than 300,000 tourists who make a pilgrimage to the island to experience the magnificent nature.
