The Oresund Bridge is 7.8 km. long bridge connecting Denmark with Sweden. The bridge rises from the artificial island Peberholm in Denmark and reaches Sweden at Lernacken south of Malmö. The bridge was taken into use in 2000, and has cost approx. 30 billion to build. Every year, more than 7 million vehicles and 11 million train passengers cross the bridge.
